 Michele Adams Proctor, C.M.P. is a seasoned Human Resources professional, consultant, and facilitative trainer with over twenty-five (25) years of HR Management and strategic business expertise in the private, public, non-profit, and higher education sectors.  Her scope of expertise spans over the following areas:

Experience

Michele has held senior-level executive positions at the Air Line Pilots Association, Int'l, at Howard University, Washington, DC as Assistant Vice President for Human Resources Management, and at Executive Transitions International, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Consulting. She is also the founder and President of RenQuest & Associates, Inc., an independent consulting group in Human Resources Management, business operations, organizational effectiveness, outsourcing, facilitative training, and career planning.

In her capacity as the Assistant Vice President at Howard University, Michele was the principal HR executive overseeing the daily operations, development, and implementation of institutional human resource management programs, policies, and procedures University-wide including the University’s health care and enterprise facilities. She also headed strategic planning activities in the development of performance improvement management by devising programs for enhancing productivity, increasing efficiencies, reducing costs, and taking advantage of opportunities.

She is a highly sought after trainer with the training group, Performance Training Resources, located in Houston, Texas, and is an annual presenter at the Ford Motor Company’s PowerNetworking Conference held in Cleveland, Ohio.

As an independent consultant, she offers her services to individuals, organizations, businesses, and institutions that wish to enhance business and marketing strategies, organizational design and development, proposal analyses, and career management. The mission of RenQuest & Associates, Inc. is to be a resource and partner to businesses, organizations, institutions, and individuals for maximizing core competencies, growth, and excellence. Her consulting and organizational effectiveness expertise has credited her with improving performance efficiencies within business units and operations by as much as 70%.

Education and Credentials 

Michele holds a BBA in Personnel Management from the George Washington University, Washington, DC. In addition, she is licensed and/or certified in several Organizational Effectiveness and Behavioral Assessment tools.  She has also held several Board of Directors’ positions in many professional associations. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, The American Society for Training and Development, The Human Resources Association of the National Capital Area, The American Compensation Association, the International Association of Career Management Professionals, and the American Management Association. Michele is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement and the Greater Silver Spring Maryland Chamber of Commerce.  She has also been certified as a mediator for the District of Columbia, is a Registered Career Consultant with the International Association of Career Consulting Firms, and has been certified as a Career Management Professional by the International Board of Career Management Certification.
